Embraer Secures Virgin Australia E190-E2 Jets Order

Embraer SA (ERJ) has released an update.

Embraer S.A. has announced that Virgin Australia placed a firm order for eight E190-E2 aircraft, with deliveries starting in the second half of 2025. These new jets are celebrated for being the most fuel-efficient in their class with significantly reduced noise and emissions, aligning with Embraer’s commitment to carbon neutrality by 2040. The deal, expected to enhance Virgin Australia’s charter services and passenger experience, will be included in Embraer’s Q3 backlog.
