Electra Battery Materials Corp announced its participation in Indonesia’s first critical minerals conference, which will explore sustainable supply chains for North American battery materials and discuss Indonesia’s growing role in the global energy transition. This announcement comes on the heels of Electra’s recent US$20M Department of Defense grant to advance U.S. cobalt refining. The company aims to strengthen North American battery material supplies and foster environmental and sustainability goals by expanding its refining processes.
