The latest update is out from Enad Global 7 AB ( (SE:EG7) ).
Enad Global 7 is tightening its cost base across its Petrol and Piranha Games units and at the board and executive level, as part of an ongoing strategic review aimed at restoring sustainable profitability. The group, which develops and markets games and provides marketing services to major global franchises, is seeking to improve operational efficiency after several years of heavy investment.
At Petrol, EG7 has implemented restructuring measures including headcount reductions, lower external spending and reduced facility costs to better match current demand, targeting annual savings of about SEK 13 million from the second quarter of 2026. Piranha Games has undergone a similar realignment of development processes and staffing, expected to cut yearly costs by roughly SEK 15 million while shoring up long-term competitiveness.
Ahead of the upcoming annual meeting, the board has proposed lower director fees, including waived remuneration for board members who are major shareholders, and a pay cut for the CEO, which together are expected to save around SEK 4 million a year if approved. In total, the measures are projected to deliver approximately SEK 32 million in annual savings from the second quarter of 2026, a move the company says is necessary to return key units to consistent profitability and strengthen its financial profile.
