EG7 Moves to Acquire Cold Iron to Bring Project Avo In-House and Simplify Structure

Enad Global 7 has signed a letter of intent to acquire Cold Iron Studios, the developer of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, bringing development of their upcoming multiplayer action shooter Project Avo fully in-house and simplifying EG7’s ownership structure. The deal, which qualifies as a related-party transaction due to existing interests held by senior EG7 executives, is subject to shareholder approval at the 12 May 2026 annual general meeting and is designed to better align governance, incentives and long-term value creation for shareholders.

Under contemplated terms, EG7 will buy all membership interests in Cold Iron for USD 3 million in cash, gaining back-catalog revenues from Aliens: Fireteam Elite, all Project Avo assets and associated technology. The structured profit-sharing waterfall prioritizes EG7’s full recoupment of roughly USD 46.6 million in Project Avo investment plus a fixed profit before sellers participate, underscoring the company’s capital-protection approach while securing greater strategic control over a key Q3 2026 game launch.
