EDM Resources Inc., a Canadian mining company focused on the Scotia Mine near Halifax, has launched a targeted gold exploration program on its Nova Scotia land package. The work aims to assess whether gold within the property can complement the existing zinc-lead mineralization and enhance the project’s overall economic profile.
The new program follows previously reported high-grade gold assays from historical concentrate material and will include data reinterpretation, mapping, sampling and drill-target generation, alongside an updated mineral resource estimate that could add gypsum and anhydrite resources. The company also reported that all resolutions were approved at its recent annual general meeting and confirmed plans to engage with investors and industry peers at the upcoming PDAC convention.
