Edison Lithium ( (TSE:EDDY) ) just unveiled an update.

Edison Lithium has overhauled its senior leadership, appointing veteran mining executive and financier A. Paul Gill as chief executive officer, president, and director, effective March 1, 2026. Gill brings more than 25 years of experience building and restructuring resource and technology companies, including founding roles at Norsemont Mining and Lomiko Metals, and leadership positions in South American copper and semiconductor-related ventures.

The company also named former controller Andrew Gainsbury as interim chief financial officer, replacing Jay Richardson, who stepped back for medical reasons but remains on the board. Outgoing CEO Nathan Rotstein has retired from management and board roles and will stay on as an advisor, positioning Edison for continuity while it pursues its strategy of expanding a portfolio of battery metals assets to capitalize on growing demand in the sector.
