Environmental Clean Technologies Limited has secured a patent in India for its innovative HydroMOR process, enhancing its global patent portfolio which includes Australia, the EU, Hong Kong, Canada, and Russia. The HydroMOR technology offers a low-carbon alternative to traditional steelmaking, cutting CO2 emissions by around 30% and reducing costs substantially through the use of lignite and low-grade iron ore. This development marks a significant stride in the company’s effort to provide a scalable and cost-effective decarbonisation solution for the steel industry.
