The latest announcement is out from Environmental Clean Technologies Limited ( (AU:ECT) ).
Environmental Clean Technologies has advanced its PFAS destruction technology, reporting successful high-voltage Rapid Electrothermal Mineralisation trials that achieve uniform soil heating to around 1,000°C at kilogram scale without conductive additives. This progress, alongside the completion of its Advisory Board and the appointment of director Jefferson Harcourt, is aimed at accelerating pilot-scale implementation and de-risking future commercial plant development.
The company also expanded its licence with Rice University to apply Flash Joule Heating to PFAS-contaminated granular activated carbon and other water treatment adsorbents, materially broadening its addressable market into global water remediation. Supported by a non-dilutive A$556,698 R&D tax rebate and the build-out of its technical team, ECT is positioning itself to capitalise on growing regulatory pressure for permanent PFAS destruction and to convert emerging industrial leads into commercial opportunities.
