ECP Emerging Growth Limited reported a sharp 21.4% quarterly decline in net tangible asset value to 136.1 cents per share as at 31 December 2025, with its portfolio down 14.9% for the quarter and 10.5% over the year, significantly underperforming the ASX Small Ordinaries and All Ordinaries accumulation indices. Despite this setback and recent weakness in growth-oriented holdings such as Corporate Travel Management, Temple & Webster, Lovisa and REA Group amid rising rate expectations, the manager highlighted robust operating updates from names like Block and Lovisa and argued that compressed valuations now undervalue the quality and long-term growth trajectories of several portfolio companies, potentially setting up attractive conditions for future outperformance. In a bid to reward investors while preserving scale, the board reaffirmed plans for a fully franked 10 cent per share special dividend conditional on dividend reinvestment participation reaching 80%, and continues to actively promote the company across financial media and adviser channels to broaden its investor base.
