Ecopetrol Declines Asset Acquisition with Occidental

Ecopetrol SA (EC) has released an update.

Ecopetrol S.A., Colombia’s largest energy company, has announced that its board of directors has decided against acquiring a stake in CrownRock, L.P. assets alongside Occidental Petroleum Corp. This decision came after a careful evaluation during their recent board meeting. Ecopetrol maintains significant operations in the American continent, including hydrocarbon production, logistics, refining, and a majority stake in ISA, expanding its reach into energy transmission and other sectors.
