On August 9, 2025, Mr. Mark R. Fetting, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Eaton Vance Municipal Income 2028 Term Trust, unexpectedly passed away. Following this event, Ms. Susan J. Sutherland has taken over as the acting Chairperson, and the Board has reduced its size from ten to nine members as of August 12, 2025.
