Eastern Platinum Limited Faces Mixed Q1 Results

Eastern Platinum (TSE:ELR) has released an update.

Eastern Platinum Limited has reported a decrease in Q1 2024 revenue to $15.7 million from $18.0 million in the previous year, alongside a significant increase in mine operating income from $3.5 million to $5.3 million. The company faced a slight operating loss and a higher net loss in the quarter, attributed to increased operating costs and foreign exchange losses. Despite these challenges, the CEO remains optimistic about future chrome and PGM revenues as operations at the Zandfontein underground section are set to increase.
