East Star Resources ( (GB:EST) ) has provided an announcement.
East Star Resources has reported encouraging early exploration results from its Snowy gold project in Kazakhstan, where recent mapping and rock chip sampling have outlined quartz-pyrite veins at surface carrying gold grades up to 1.44 grams per tonne and anomalous silver. Geological and hyperspectral analysis has led the company to reinterpret Snowy as a low-sulfidation epithermal system with extensive sericite alteration and favourable volcaniclastic host rocks, suggesting potential for a sizeable gold-bearing “boiling zone” at depth.
To advance the target, East Star has begun an induced polarisation geophysical survey over the Snowy breccia zone, aiming to use chargeability and resistivity contrasts to pinpoint more prospective parts of the vein system, with results expected in the second quarter of 2026. Positive geophysical anomalies could generate compelling drill targets and, if confirmed by further work, would strengthen East Star’s portfolio of copper and gold projects in Kazakhstan and enhance its positioning in a region known for large-scale porphyry and epithermal deposits.
Spark’s Take on EST Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, EST is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak financial performance: no revenue, ongoing losses, and sharply higher 2025 cash burn alongside renewed debt and declining equity. Technicals are comparatively supportive with the price above major moving averages and positive momentum indicators, but valuation is unfavorable/unclear due to negative earnings and no dividend yield provided.
