Drax Group plc has continued its share buyback programme, purchasing 140,411 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 667.87 pence each, with the highest and lowest prices being 674.00 and 658.00 pence respectively. The buyback is part of a larger initiative that has seen Drax Group acquire 2,567,382 shares for treasury since the programme’s announcement on 7 August 2024. Following the transaction, Drax Group has a total of 427,620,033 Ordinary Shares in issue, including treasury shares, and a total voting rights figure of 384,831,549.
