Drax Group plc has continued its share buyback program, purchasing 45,000 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 652.07 pence per share. Following this transaction, the company has a total of 427,707,049 ordinary shares in issue, including those held as treasury shares. The buyback initiative, which was first announced on August 7, 2024, has to date resulted in the acquisition of 4,676,855 ordinary shares for treasury.
