Dr. Brian Kotzin has decided to step down from his role as an independent director on Rigel Pharmaceuticals’ Board of Directors, as well as from all board committees he serves on, effective September 16, 2024. His resignation is amicable and not due to any disputes concerning Rigel’s operational, policy, or practice matters.
