An announcement from dorsaVi Limited ( (AU:DVL) ) is now available.
DorsaVi has deepened its pivot into advanced semiconductor and neuromorphic technologies by launching a multi-year collaboration with Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute and Nanyang Technological University to advance its proprietary RRAM platform to the 22-nanometre node. This move aims to establish a neuromorphic-ready technology sweet spot that improves memory density, speed and power efficiency for intelligent hardware across robotics, wearables and autonomous systems.
During the quarter the company also completed the acquisition of neuromorphic and in-memory processing IP, formed an advisory board to drive its “Intelligence at the Ultra Edge” strategy, and upgraded its wearable sensors with V6.5 firmware to enable on-sensor intelligence and future RRAM integration. These developments, backed by a cash balance of $3.1 million, position DorsaVi to evolve from a wearables-focused business into a broader ultra-edge computing platform provider, potentially enhancing its competitive standing in emerging low-power AI hardware markets.
