DNO ASA Announces Major North Sea Discovery

DNO ASA, a Norwegian oil and gas operator, has made a significant gas condensate discovery in the Norwegian North Sea, with an estimated 16-38 million barrels of oil equivalent, surpassing predrill expectations. The Cuvette discovery near the Troll and Gjøa hubs marks the company’s eighth in the area since 2021, all near existing infrastructure and with potential fast-track to production. DNO’s aggressive exploration strategy in the region has positioned them as a leading player with substantial acreage in emerging hotspots.
