DLP Resources Extends Near-Surface Copper Mineralization at Esperanza Project

DLP Resources reported new geochemical results from four trenches and an access road cut at its 100%-owned Esperanza porphyry copper-molybdenum project in Peru, expanding mineralized coverage across an exotic copper zone measuring roughly 300 by 700 metres. The latest work returned broad near-surface oxide copper intervals, highlighted by 86 metres grading 0.73% copper, including 48 metres at 1.03% copper in trench T6_026, plus several additional trenches with continuous mineralized agglomerate.

Management said these results confirm a near-surface copper oxide body along the flank of a mapped porphyry system, with quartz veining, hydrothermal breccias and alteration indicating a shallow porphyry target to the southeast. With the first phase of trenching and mapping completed, DLP plans a second phase of detailed sampling and further geophysics to refine drill targets later this year, potentially enhancing the project’s exploration upside and strategic appeal in a key copper-producing district.
