DIC ( (JP:4631) ) just unveiled an update.

DIC Corporation reported consolidated net sales of ¥282.5 billion for the three months ended March 31, FY2026, up 7.8% year on year, driven by robust semiconductor demand that lifted chemitronics sales by 24.1% and by the translation benefit of a weaker yen on overseas revenue. Operating income surged 87.7% to ¥24.5 billion and net income attributable to owners jumped 214.7% to ¥19.2 billion, supported by higher shipments of high-value-added products, a ¥5.8 billion reversal of a repair liability at an overseas pigment facility, reduced foreign exchange losses, and a ¥2.8 billion gain on art sales.

Despite the strong start, DIC left its first-half and full-year forecasts and its projected annual dividend of ¥140 per share unchanged, citing uncertainty around the impact of the situation in the Middle East on its operations. The performance highlights the growing contribution of chemitronics to earnings quality and margin improvement and underscores management’s cautious stance on guidance amid geopolitical risk and currency volatility, factors that are closely watched by investors and other stakeholders.

The most recent analyst rating on (JP:4631) stock is a Hold with a Yen3700.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on DIC stock, see the JP:4631 Stock Forecast page.
