Diageo PLC, a world leader in the beverage alcohol industry, has declared a final dividend of 47.23 pence per ordinary share, which is the Sterling equivalent of the previously announced 62.98 US cents dividend. The conversion rate used for the dividend, set at US$1=£0.74992, was based on rates from forward contracts secured by Diageo. Shareholders can expect the dividend payment to be made on October 17, 2024.
