Dexin Services Group Ltd. ( (HK:2215) ) has shared an update.
Dexin Services Group Limited has disclosed that its controlling shareholder, Mr. Hu Yiping, was adjudged bankrupt by the High Court of the British Virgin Islands on 5 May 2026, leading to his assets, including his majority interest in Shengfu International Limited, vesting in an official receiver or trustee. The board stressed that the bankruptcy concerns Mr. Hu personally rather than the group or its assets, that he had already stepped down as chairman and executive director on 28 April 2026, and that the order is not expected to materially affect the company’s financial performance or daily operations, although a future change in controlling shareholder is possible.
Following a trading halt requested by the company on the morning of 6 May 2026 pending this disclosure, Dexin Services has applied for the resumption of trading in its shares from 1:00 p.m. the same day. The company said it will monitor any further developments related to the bankruptcy order, comply with disclosure obligations under Hong Kong securities rules, and urged shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its stock given the potential for changes in ownership control.
