The latest update is out from Desert Minerals Ltd. ( (AU:DSM) ).
Desert Minerals has cleared the Notice of Intent exploration permit review for its Scotty Lithium Project in Nevada and is finalising drill preparations, with drilling scheduled to start later this month. The company is locking in drill contracts and key service agreements to mobilise rigs and support services for the upcoming campaign.
The 2026 drilling program will test high-priority lithium targets with potential near-surface mineralisation, underpinned by a JORC Exploration Target of 460–837 million tonnes grading 1,145–1,175 ppm lithium. Positioned next to Nevada Lithium’s large Bonnie Claire resource, Scotty has already returned thick lithium intercepts, and with $4.1 million in cash, Desert Minerals is well funded to advance Scotty and Mt Monger, reinforcing its position in a key North American lithium district.
