Desert Metals Ltd. is set to initiate exploration at the Adzope Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire after its JV partner, African Ressources SARL, secured a key gold exploration permit. The permit covers about 230 square kilometers with evidence of extensive gold mineralization, where initial activities will include channel and soil sampling, along with drilling, starting September 2024. Desert Metals, which can earn up to an 80% interest in the Adzope project, aims to uncover multi-million-ounce gold deposits, leveraging the region’s unexplored potential indicated by a series of artisanal gold operations.
