Daito Trust Construction has resolved to reintroduce an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) trust as part of its medium- to long-term strategy to enhance corporate value. The scheme is designed to strengthen employee benefits and align staff incentives more closely with business performance and shareholder value.
Under the renewed ESOP trust, a trust will purchase in a lump sum the company shares expected to be bought by the employee shareholders’ association over the next five years and sell them monthly to participants.
