Daikoku Denki Co., Ltd. ( (JP:6430) ) has issued an announcement.

Daikoku Denki has established a wholly owned subsidiary, Chagri Co., Ltd., in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, to enter the agricultural support and agri-tech business centered on the matcha supply chain. The move responds to a growing domestic and international matcha market, where small-scale tencha producers face capital and labor constraints, and aims to build a more robust production and supply system.

Chagri, capitalized at 50 million yen with an initial 100 million yen investment from Daikoku Denki, will handle R&D, consulting, production, processing, logistics, and sales of agricultural products, as well as beverage and food manufacturing and agritourism operations. The company expects the new business to support medium- to long-term performance improvement, though its impact on current-year consolidated results is projected to be limited, signaling a strategic but measured diversification into agri-tech and matcha-related industries.

The most recent analyst rating on (JP:6430) stock is a Buy with a Yen2701.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Daikoku Denki Co., Ltd. stock, see the JP:6430 Stock Forecast page.
