Dai-ichi Life Holdings Reports Stock Repurchase

Dai-ichi Life Holdings (JP:8750) has released an update.

Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. has announced the repurchase of its common stock, totaling 5,784,300 shares for 26.53 billion yen between July 1st and July 31st, 2024. This repurchase is a part of a larger buy-back program approved by the board on March 29, 2024, which allows for up to 50 million shares, representing 5.26% of issued stock, to be repurchased for up to 100 billion yen within the fiscal year. As of July 31, the company has repurchased 14.96 million shares at a cost of over 63 billion yen.
