The latest update is out from D3 Energy Limited ( (AU:D3E) ).
D3 Energy Limited has been granted a new Technical Cooperation Permit, TCP273, adjacent to its existing acreage in South Africa’s Free State helium province, expanding its total granted and applied-for exploration footprint in the region to 478,699 acres. The new 82,777-acre permit lies along structural trends hosting the company’s existing discoveries, where previous work at ER315 delivered helium concentrations of up to 6.2% from shallow boreholes.
Management said the award of TCP273 aligns with D3 Energy’s strategy of securing high-value helium and natural gas acreage along proven structural zones and leverages proprietary geological modelling to add meaningful exploration upside. The one-year, low-cost, desktop-based permit is expected to lead to an application for a full Exploration Right, potentially increasing the company’s contingent and prospective helium and methane resource inventory and reinforcing its position as a leading helium developer in the region.
