CSRI Halts Gas Production Amid Low Prices

Canadian Spirit Resources (TSE:SPI) has released an update.

Canadian Spirit Resources Inc. has temporarily ceased natural gas production at its Farrell Creek/South Altares facilities due to unprofitable market conditions. The company’s recent output averaged 629 Mcf per day prior to the shutdown, and operations will resume when gas prices improve. Meanwhile, CSRI is exploring strategic alternatives to enhance the value of its resources with the assistance of Sayer Energy Advisors.
