Crown Castle ( (CCI) ) has issued an announcement.

On April 22, 2026, Crown Castle reported first-quarter 2026 results showing site rental revenues of $961 million, down 4.9% year over year, and adjusted EBITDA of $675 million, down 7%, while AFFO fell 7% to $446 million and AFFO per share declined to $1.02. Despite lower site rental revenues driven by DISH terminations, Sprint cancellations, and reduced non-cash revenue items, net income swung to a $151 million profit from a $464 million loss a year earlier, and management maintained its full-year 2026 outlook as it nears completion of the Fiber and Small Cell business sale and sharpens its strategy as a standalone tower company with an investment-grade balance sheet and disciplined capital allocation.

For the full year 2026, Crown Castle’s outlook midpoint projects site rental revenues of $3.85 billion, about 5% below 2025 levels, while net income is expected to rise 76% to $780 million and AFFO to edge up 1% to $1.92 billion, with AFFO per share improving 2% to $4.43. Management highlighted 3.1% organic growth in site rental billings in the quarter, excluding the impact of DISH and Sprint churn, and emphasized that operating efficiencies, systems modernization, and increased land ownership underpin its confidence in delivering attractive and sustainable returns to shareholders as a focused tower operator.

The most recent analyst rating on (CCI) stock is a Buy with a $102.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Crown Castle stock, see the CCI Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on CCI Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, CCI is a Neutral.

CCI scores mid-range primarily due to mixed financial quality: strong cash generation is outweighed by declining revenue, earnings volatility, and balance-sheet risk (high debt and negative equity). Technicals are modestly improving but still weak over longer timeframes, while valuation is supported by a high dividend yield and a moderate P/E. Earnings-call guidance provides some support through planned deleveraging and cost/interest savings, but DISH-related headwinds and timing/legal uncertainty limit upside.
