Crest Nicholson Holdings PLC and Bellway p.l.c. have announced the extension of the deadline for Bellway to either confirm its intention to buy Crest Nicholson or withdraw its offer. This extension allows for the completion of due diligence and negotiations. Crest Nicholson’s shareholders have been offered a mix of Bellway shares and a special dividend, but there is no certainty that the acquisition will proceed.
