The latest update is out from Cosel Co., Ltd. ( (JP:6905) ).
Cosel has agreed to sell all shares of its Swedish subsidiary Powerbox International AB to Germany-based SCUR-Alpha 820 GmbH, a newly formed holding company indirectly funded by HYPAX GmbH. The move follows a review of Powerbox’s business environment, investment needs, and Cosel’s overall portfolio, and will result in Powerbox’s removal from Cosel’s consolidated group while Cosel continues product and loan-related transactions with the unit.
Cosel said the sale is aimed at enhancing group-wide capital efficiency and corporate value by allowing Powerbox to pursue growth under new ownership, after the subsidiary’s recent financial performance turned loss-making. The transfer price remains undisclosed for confidentiality reasons, and the company is still assessing the impact on results for the fiscal year ending May 2026, with details to be provided in its upcoming earnings announcement.
The most recent analyst rating on (JP:6905) stock is a Hold with a Yen1200.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Cosel Co., Ltd. stock, see the JP:6905 Stock Forecast page.
