COSCO SHIPPING Announces Generous Interim Dividend

COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co (HK:1138) has released an update.

COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. has announced the approval of a substantial interim dividend of RMB1,049,570,806.90, which translates to RMB0.22 per share before tax, following promising interim results and a review of capital requirements. This interim dividend for the first half of 2024 will be distributed in RMB to A Shareholders and in HK$ to H Shareholders, with the latter receiving HK$0.24178 per share before tax. Payments to H Shareholders will be completed by 13 December 2024, with applicable tax withholdings for non-resident enterprise shareholders.
