Caprice Resources Ltd. ( (AU:CRS) ) has issued an update.
Corella Resources has agreed to acquire a 75 per cent interest in the Chobe Project in Western Australia’s West Arunta region from Caprice Resources, covering eight granted tenements and seven applications considered highly prospective for niobium, rare earths and IOCG-style deposits. The ground exhibits structural and magnetic signatures similar to WA1 Resources’ Luni and Encounter Resources’ Aileron projects, positioning Corella near recent high-grade discoveries and underscoring the region’s growing status as a critical minerals hotspot.
To fund the acquisition and initial work, Corella is undertaking a two-tranche equity placement to raise $5 million before costs, which has been heavily oversubscribed with firm commitments. The deal also contemplates assigning existing land access agreements, subject to native title and permitting approvals, which could accelerate exploration timelines and potentially enhance Corella’s competitive foothold in the West Arunta critical minerals corridor.
