Corella Resources Ltd is accelerating its High Purity Alumina (HPA) research and development with government funding, aiming to enhance the efficiency of its kaolin-derived HPA production. The company’s Tampu kaolin deposit is positioned to meet increasing demand for HPA in batteries and LEDs, focusing on reducing capital and operational expenses while also optimizing environmental impact. Corella is collaborating with industry and academic partners to develop a cost-effective, innovative production process with a lab-scale pilot plant construction set to commence in early 2025.
