The latest announcement is out from Core Nickel Corp. ( (TSE:CNCO) ).
Core Nickel Corp. has successfully completed its winter 2025 drill program at the Halfway Lake Project, located in the Thompson Nickel Belt, Manitoba. The program, which involved 12 drillholes totaling 3,585.5 meters, aimed to explore high-priority targets identified from a previous survey. The drilling confirmed the presence of critical components for nickel sulphide deposits, enhancing the exploration potential of the property. Notably, a new near-surface pyrrhotite-rich massive sulphide zone and a zone with Pipe Formation stratigraphy were identified, which resemble features of the Thompson deposit. These findings suggest a promising outlook for the company’s exploration efforts, although assay results are still pending.
