OAR Resources Ltd ( (AU:CR3) ) has issued an announcement.
Core Energy Minerals has reported numerous significant rare earth element intercepts from re-assayed aircore drilling at its Cummins Project in South Australia, confirming a broad, laterally extensive REE-enriched system hosted in both regolith and weathered basement clays. The mineralisation shows continuous zones over tens of metres with moderate to strong enrichment in higher-value magnet rare earth oxides, while exploration is being expanded to the Western Eyre Peninsula Project using historical drill samples.
Management says the results validate the REE potential of its South Australian tenure and align the company with surging demand for magnet rare earths driven by the energy transition, AI data centres and critical minerals security policies. Core Energy also sees potential for in-situ recovery–amenable extraction of broad, low- to moderate-grade REE mineralisation, which could allow future development while leaving the landform largely intact and enhancing the strategic significance of its projects.
