Corcel PLC has successfully completed the data acquisition phase of the Enhanced Full Tensor Gradiometry Survey on its KON-16 block in the Kwanza Basin, Angola-Brazil. The company is moving into data processing and interpretation, with aims to improve geological understanding and target prospective areas for drilling the first new well since the 1960s. The survey’s completion marks a key step in unlocking the potential of the underexplored 1,000 sq km block that shows promise for both shallow and deep oil targets.
