Copper Standard to Merge with Pucara Gold, Expanding Peru Portfolio

Pucara Gold (TSE:TORO) has released an update.

Copper Standard Resources Inc. is set to acquire Pucara Gold Ltd., creating a significant new copper-gold exploration entity with a portfolio that spans over 17,000 hectares in Peru. This merger is expected to deliver both increased scale and a diversified asset base, along with synergies and potential cost savings from Copper Standard’s experienced management team. The combined company will include the promising Pacaska, Paco Orco, and Capricho projects, which show signs of high-grade mineralization and copper enrichment.
