Companhia Paranaense de Energia Pfd ( (ELP) ) has issued an announcement.

In February 2025, COPEL announced the exercise of its right of first refusal to acquire a 70% stake in the Baixo Iguaçu Hydroelectric Power Plant owned by Neoenergia S.A. for R$ 984 million. Subsequently, it entered into an agreement to sell this stake, along with its own 30% minority interest, to DK Holding Investments for a total of R$ 1,554 million.
