Companhia Paranaense de Energia – COPEL has successfully completed the sale of its 51% stake in Companhia Paranaense de Gás (Compagas), advancing its strategy to concentrate on core operations and reduce its carbon footprint. The initial payment represents 40% of the transaction’s equity value, amounting to R$ 906.0 million, with the balance to be settled in two subsequent installments by September 2026. This move aligns with COPEL’s commitment to optimizing its business portfolio and enhancing shareholder value.
