Contact Gold Corp. has announced that its securityholders have resoundingly approved the acquisition by Orla Mining Ltd., with 99.97% support from votes cast at a special meeting. The agreement entails Contact Gold shareholders receiving a fraction of Orla common shares for each share they hold, with the transaction expected to close by the end of April 2024, subject to court approval and customary conditions.
