Contact Energy Limited has announced an update to its Distribution Notice, allowing shareholders to opt-in or opt-out of the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) for the final FY24 dividend by 5 PM on 17 September 2024. The amendment comes on the heels of Contact’s push to accelerate its renewable generation strategy with a significant acquisition. No other changes were made to the original Distribution Notice, and the final dividend will be paid out at $0.23 per share from operating free cash flow.
