Consolidated Water Co. Settles Dispute, Sells Project Land

The latest update is out from Consolidated Water Co (CWCO).

Consolidated Water Co. Ltd. and its subsidiaries settled a legal dispute with the Government of Baja California and related parties by entering into a Settlement Agreement on May 29, 2024. This agreement resolved issues stemming from a terminated contract for a desalination plant project in Mexico. As part of the settlement, the company will sell the project land to a government trust and provide project documentation to the Baja California Government, resulting in the parties being released from all related obligations and barring any further legal proceedings on the matter.
