An update from Conroy Gold and Natural Resources ( (GB:CGNR) ) is now available.
Conroy Gold reported assay results from two new drill holes at its Clontibret deposit in Ireland, which were drilled to test the northern extension of gold lodes near the historic Tullybuck antimony mine. Both holes intersected an extensive, intensely altered zone interpreted as Buddingtonite, a mineral commonly associated with concealed hydrothermal gold systems and considered a useful vector for targeting deeper or fault-controlled mineralisation.
The CGC-25-002 and CGC-25-003 holes delivered multiple high-grade gold intersections, including 3.5 metres at 4.8 g/t with sub-intervals up to 16.7 g/t, and confirmed lateral continuity of mineralisation along strike. Management says the combination of strong gold grades and a clear Buddingtonite alteration signature supports the presence of a larger hydrothermal system at Clontibret, enhancing the geological model and potentially improving exploration targeting across the ongoing five-hole drilling programme.
Spark’s Take on CGNR Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, CGNR is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, recurring losses, and historically negative operating/free cash flow), partly offset by a supportive balance sheet and improving 2025 cash burn. Technicals are constructive with strong trend/momentum, but overbought signals temper the outlook. Valuation provides limited support given loss-making earnings and no dividend.
