Conifex Timber Inc. is scaling back operations at its Mackenzie sawmill to one shift and temporarily suspending its power plant due to imminent transportation challenges and negative market conditions. The company also notes a government-mandated reduction in annual harvest volumes, which will slightly alter the proportion of internal to open market timber supply for their operations.
