Comvita ( (NZ:CVT) ) has issued an update.
Comvita is reminding eligible shareholders that its pro-rata renounceable rights offer, part of a wider capital raise to support bank refinancing, closes at 5.00pm on Thursday 7 May 2026 NZST, with entitlements set at one new share for every 1.53 existing shares at an offer price of NZ$0.65, representing a modest discount to the last traded price and TERP. The partially underwritten offer will introduce Singapore-based consumer group Fraser and Neave, via its F&N Ventures subsidiary, as a strategic investor and includes an oversubscription facility for investors who fully take up their rights, potentially reshaping Comvita’s register and strengthening its balance sheet as it pursues its international growth strategy.
Eligible investors who take up their full entitlement may apply for additional new shares up to the greater of 100% of their rights entitlement or NZ$500,000, though final allocations under the oversubscription facility are at Comvita’s discretion and not guaranteed. The capital raise is designed to improve Comvita’s funding profile through refinancing, and the entry of F&N as a cornerstone shareholder underscores growing regional interest in premium Mānuka honey and could enhance Comvita’s market access and partnership opportunities across Southeast Asia.
