Compass Group PLC has announced the buyback of 93,703 of its own shares as part of a $500 million share repurchase program, with the recent transaction executed through J.P. Morgan Securities plc. The acquired shares will be held in treasury, primarily to fulfill obligations from employee share schemes. This buyback is the final stage of the program initiated in November 2023, with the total number of Compass Group voting rights now standing at 1,698,693,036 Ordinary Shares.
