Compass Group PLC has repurchased 59,443 of its own shares, valued at an average price of £26.2369 per share, as part of its ongoing $500 million share buyback initiative. This move, executed through J.P. Morgan Securities, aims to fulfill commitments related to employee share schemes. The company now holds nearly 90 million shares in treasury, maintaining a total of over 1.69 billion shares in issue.
