Compass Group PLC has reported the buyback of 64,198 of its ordinary shares, executed through J.P. Morgan Securities plc, as a part of its ongoing $500 million share repurchase program. The shares, which will be held in treasury, are intended to fulfill obligations related to employee share schemes. After the transaction, Compass Group PLC has 87,101,192 treasury shares and maintains 1,698,302,785 ordinary shares in issue for voting purposes.
